i think so. i used to use it for batch conversions because i didn't need
super high quality for the component images of a panorama. however, my
stitching program PhotoVista 3.5, is now improved to the point where it
matters, and PS CS2 does background batch conversion really easily, so i
don't need to manually open and save each image anymore.
