It should be noted that when the PZ-1p came out, it had the ability to
control the flash output/compensation from the body.  You could
actually dial in the amount of flash compensation you wanted.  This
worked with any TTL flash.  Most of the competitors did it the other
way around - you dialed in the flash compensation on the flash unit
rather than the body.  With the release of the MZ-S and then the *ist
family, Pentax has changed it so that flash compensation is a feature
of the flash unit rather than the body.  So with a 360FGZ flash, you
can dial in the amount of compensation you desire and use P-TTL on the
MZ-S, *ist, *istD and *istDS.  It is no longer a feature of the body
like the PZ-1p.

I use this feature all the time with weddings and portraits, typically
dialing in between -1.5 and -2 stops on the flash and using the
ability of the flash/body to do high speed synch to do daylight fill.
Works very well.
