Dave,
Back when I used to update my website, I was a big fan of BBEdit from
Bare Bones Software. For FTP, Fetch was a good Mac FTP client.
You can go here: http://guide.apple.com/index.lasso and see a catalog of
products made for Mac.
Your call on the warranty. I have a relatively ancient G3 at home that
is apparently bulletproof, or at least me-proof, in that I can't recall
any breakdowns it's had.

Sorry gang. Hopefully my last Apple quiry.
I like BBpro for my web pages and use Ipswitch FTP to upload my pages to my
site.
I have checked both sites and they are only supported by Micro gouge OS's.
I'm not to worried about BBPro, but would like FTP access sometimes away from
home.
What do you Mac folk use for FTP.
Does anyone have BBPro working on their Mac.
Is the xtended warranty a good idea.
