Thanks Paul, Charles and Doug. I was sure i could under a Mac system, but just wanted to be sure before i spend my money.:-) So, to sum up. Looks like a Mac ibook might fit the bill for house and travel. One program, BBPro which i like for my html pages, will not work, but i'll still keep my XP machine and sell my 2 ME machines. One is already spoken for. Mac version of PSEL 3 is available until i can do a CS program. I can run dial up until i decide to go wireless or at least hispeed with router. I like the combo with the pyro a/v adaptor for my analoug to dvd transfers. I have a lot so it will be worth it. Now i just have to muster my strength and actually hit the "submit order" key on the Apple Canada web store.LOL Thanks for all the info and support. PDMLers are the best. Dave
