If they NEED the features the lens does have YES. Just because someone is too lazy to find what they need doesn't mean that someone else is and wont make the effort to get it. Its not even that hard anymore with ebay. YOU CAN get just about anything ever commercially made there if you try hard enough..Even really rare stuff... the old pre-ebay and pre-internet argument "I'll never find one" doesn't really hold up in 2005. Secondly, you are mistaken when you keep saying the "bulk of consumers" and previously generic "average buyer" (paraphrased). We are not talking about those people, we are talking about Pentax DSLR buyers and they are not the same demographic at all.. jco
