My opinion is:

"Me, too."

I came to the Pentax line for the 50/1.4, which I love and shoot with 80% of
the time. I haven't got every version, but I've got: Super-Multi-Coated
Takumar, K, M, and FA. The best-built and best-performing is the Tak. But I
definitely prefer the M to the FA. The M is probably the worst-performing of
the four versions I have, but I think the size and feel is ideal. I use it
the most. And it's a great lens. Just not quite as good as the Tak.
