Excuse me but DUH- there is no other way with these
DSLRS with K/M lenses. Of course you do.
I think you assumption might be correct because
they have *** No Other Choice *** but to work that way
with K/M?

Thanks for being a voice of reason here, Bruce. I suspect the vast majority
of Pentax DSLR shooters work the same way as you when using K/M lenses. I
certainly do.
