ISO 3200 on the D produces a lovely grain after B&W conversion, and the
softness is from the lens (Great lens, but a little soft wide-open). It's
becoming my favourite way to shoot with the D. Just need to get a A 50 f1.4
for the extra stop of speed.
Sounds like using that combination will allow you to take
portraits under moonlight only. :)
