I was thinking just like you, Keith. The only problem is that there are a lot more effective ways to sabotage the truck. Of course if all the guy had was a 13mm wrench....

So I am wondering has anyone experienced bolts all coming loose the same
amount on their own like this?

1/2 turn on a bolt isn't very much. My guess is that the cork gasket
compressed or shrank from the heat.

As an old mechanic, I'd refute that supposition.
This problem is man made.

1/2 turn on most bolts of that size equates to about .018" linear travel. At that point, no gasket is applying any axial pressure to the nut, or bolt head.

The other Tom needs to booby trap his oil pan! <g>
