Apparently, they mistook my wife's lug nuts for tranny pan bolts! A couple weeks ago she broke a lug off as she was parking the car. The other three nuts on the same wheel could be turned by hand. So I spent several hours the next day putting in a new lug and making damn sure the nuts were tight on all of them. A week later they were loose again. Funny thing is that I had been checking them daily. I haven't lived here long enough to make enemies. I'm really scared of what they'll do to me after they get to know me around here. :)
