Kostas,
My "bitter rage" as you term it, has a reason. Mr Chong has publicly
stated that he expects Pentax lenses to appreciate if Pentax goes out of
business. Mr Chong has also stated that he has a great many expensive
Pentax lenses, and he wants to sell them at a good price so that he can
buy into Canon.
He also continually posts messages on here that suggest Pentax is going to
the wall.
It's my view that these things are linked. If you choose not to think so,
then that is your prerogative, but I think otherwise, and as a Pentax
customer, I don't like it when subscribers to this list try to put my/our
supplier out of business.
Incidentally, if you think my posts are indicative of rage, then I suggest
you climb down from your ivory tower late one Saturday night and visit
those parts of Auld Reekie where town and gown seldom meet.

First of all, can I kindly ask that you drop the "chongites" business,
it is a personal attack and as such it does not befit this list, in my
opinion.
You also see, John, that there are other people who agree with Herb that
Pentax needs to up the ante, and do so fast too, irrespective of whether
they accept Herb's financial accounts of Pentax.
Why not pull out of this thread if speculation is not your thing, or
contribute sparsely or extensively as you please, but please keep your
bitter rage for yourself or thrash it out with Herb offline, if he is
interested.
