Christian, i find the background distracting from the birds. it is sharper
than the birds themselves. given the lighting and so on, i don't think that
you could shoot wider and still maintain the slow shutter speed, but that
would have made it work better. i figure a 3-stop ND filter would have done
it. otherwise, it would have to be a different kind of day where it wasn't
as bright. without the white waves in the background, i think the shot would
have worked very nicely.
