Hey Tom,

Something is loose inside the lens. But more importantly, the filter thread
got some minor damage so threading my adapter onto the front to stack the
lens is getting really difficult. I was thinking about getting a replacement
M50/1.4, but I'm thinking that spending the extra bucks to get a FA50/1.4
might be sensible  for my lovely wife who should use an autofocus lens more
than the does.

I just....I just don't like the looks of the FA lenses with the little
windows.

I'm so conflicted. Maybe I should buy a whole mess of them, like most of you
on this list!
