But more importantly, the filter thread got some minor damage so threading my adapter onto the front to stack the lens is getting really difficult. I was thinking about getting a replacement M50/1.4, but I'm thinking that spending the extra bucks to get a FA50/1.4 might be sensible for my lovely wife who should use an autofocus lens more than the does. I just....I just don't like the looks of the FA lenses with the little windows. I'm so conflicted. Maybe I should buy a whole mess of them, like most of you on this list! Barry A.
