Yeah. I have typically used Lithium batteries in my *ist D and my DS.
As a matter of fact, I mostly use Li CRV3's. I know this is expensive,
but the times I've used rechargeable batteries in digital SLRs
(including my E-10) the cameras all developed erratic behavior at some
point. I think these things are really sensitive to power supplies, and
don't' simply shut down when power is low.
I have found with the istD that it seems more sensitive when the external
pack is mounted and there are batteries in both pack and camera.
Hence my asking if she she using the external battery pack.
