I don't think anyone has more than one model, although some of us have two cameras. I would still opt for a D, because I need continuous autofocus in all modes, and I like to be able to work the aps and shutter speed with separate dials when shooting in program mode. I'm also quite dependent on having the battery grip and the reserve energy supply it provides. If those factors aren't important, the *istDS2 is the obvious choce.

I was just poking around the KEH site and saw a LN- (Like New Minus) istD
for $665.00. That's pretty close to1/2 the price of a new one, and
considering the KEH reputation, seems like someone here might want to grab
it.

For those of you who have all the *ist D's, is there a consensus that one is any better than the other?
What is there, the original *istD, the DL, the DS & DS2, any more?
If you were buying today, would you choose one over the others? And why?
