This is a matter of concern, I was shooting yesterday, and it was good that I wasn't shooting moving subjects. I had the LX and the MZ-S with me, and it is quite a difference whether I actuate the cable release when the mirror is already locked up (LX) or I press the shutter, MLU, 21, 22, exposure (MZ-S). I even succeded in fooling myself by not switching back from self to normal exposure, handheld with flash - strange things happened until I realized what it was. One frame missed (one I could take afterwards, all still life, luckily)... This can't happen with the LX.

And, more important, precise control over when to make the exposure.

Yes, which gives the photographer the choice of how long to wait for the vibrations to damp out.

Hi!

We need true MLU ....

Does true MLU mean that the photographer has to perform two actions on their own - to bring the mirror up and to trip the shutter?
