Well, that's true.
It's just that I usually think of Pentax lenses as the lens series rather
than the mount:

SM
K
M, M*
A, A*
F
FA, FAJ
DA
DFA

They are all (SM = screw mount) K-mount lenses, of course, but usually
described as mentioned above.
So, to me, a K-lens is a pre M-lens, which means it was probably made before
1981.
I own only two of these old K-lenses (made for kameras like K1000, KX. KM,
K2 or K2DMD) between 1975 and 1990);
the SMC 2.5/135mm and the SMC 2.8/105mm.

Jens

Emne: Small Pentax K lens test

Hello,

Just after purchasing DS - I decided to check it by running a small
comparison between all the lenses that I currently have in my drawer :)

I know that especially wide lenses are usually worse on digital body,
thank on film, but the results are pretty interesting.

Lenses compared:
- SMC-DA 18-55/3.5-5.6
- SMC-FA 20-35/4 AL
- SMC-FA 35/2 AL
- SMC-FA 50/1.4
- SMC-F 50/2.8 Macro
- Tamron SP XR Di 28-75/2.8
