Really, no one knows that with any of the manufacturers. In the mid 70's, I put my eggs in Nikon's basket, by the mid 80s I was really regretting that decision, and with the introduction of the F4, I knew Nikon had lost me as a customer. The EOS cameras up to now have all struck me as bloated pigs. They may make fine pictures within their limitations, but if I am going to haul that much weight around, it ain't gonna be a digicam whose imaging quality is marginal at best, no matter who makes it.
