Hmm... Sure, but in this situation you won't need it - you'll probably be
using normal and fast lens and quite a fast film.
(Let me guess - LX and A50 f/1.2? ;)
But, when you need to make a photo of parts of buildings (which, of cause,
are on the streets, as well), using 300/500mm tele...
It's all situation-dependent. My point was - nobody mentioned monopod at
all...
There are some places, where you'd appreciate some camera support, and
light, compact monopod (or even tabletop tripod) will help.
Let's take Longwood Gardens in PA. You have only one hour in the morning
when you are allowed to use tripod. Then - monopods only (no, tripod with
legs strained won't go ;)
