There are areas of photography where sharpness is of less importance (like photo
journalism), but try breaking into postcards, editorial, fine prints, calendar,
wildlife, general nature with hand held images and you're soon out of business. The
reason is that everybody else use a tripod and it shows in superior sharp images. The
sucess of 35mm in the fine print market place is fully fundamented in the fact that
the photographer treat his 35mm camera just like a large format one.
