Regards the page design:
I'm moderately pleased with it, but it still needs tuning. I think
pinning the controls vertically to the left side rather than the top
works better, it costs less critical screen real estate for
verticals, with a minimal impact on horizontals. Anchoring the top-
left corner of the image also seems to work out better to me,
aesthetically, too.
One suggestion was to put the thumbnails in a left-hand strip ... I'm
not so keen on that one. It costs screen real estate and I find it a
bit of a distraction. Perhaps I'll set it up that clicking a
thumbnail spawns a new window, so the thumbnails remain visible
behind the individual photo page.
More stuff to play with. :-)

The pic of the couple kissing - I find it really distracting that
she's got her eyes open! Not your fault or anything, but it makes
me think that her heart just wasn't in it.
That was actually one of the reasons the scene attracted me. He was
fully intent on his expression, it seemed she was squirming a bit. ;-)
I think the one of the little dummies wearing those nice shirts is
my favorite. Or are they people-sized and that's a huge image
behind them?
The dummies are near to life size ... the picture behind them is
enormous.
