Mike, I am dismayed, but somehow not surprised. My glib remarks are
inappropriate. Thanks for filling me in. Over here in the UK, you get the
odd scam going (!), and, more and more, people are careful about their
perceived image, but your examples scare me.
What I find curious though is that the US doesn't have the same sort of
privacy laws that France has (or maybe it does?). There, you just about
need express forms in triplicate before you can even think of grabbing a
pic in the street! (Okay, okay, but you know what I mean...) With all
that suing going on in the US, I would have thought that such laws would
be mandatory. Mind, what would the lawyers do?
