Hi Shel, you can have it both ways.
My email is provided by clara.net through a pop3 mailbox. This is just some space and software on their server somewhere. From my PC I connect to my several pop3 accounts using Outlook 2003, which gives me all the sorting, filtering etc. functionality that I need, plus excellent integration* with my calendar, task list and so on. But clara.net also has a reasonable webmail interface I can use when I'm away from the PC. I imagine most modern hosting companies provide this kind of dual facility. -- Cheers, Bob *I'm not normally given to blowing Billy's bugle, but Outlook is really a superb piece of software once you start to explore and exploit it. > -----Original Message----- > From: Shel Belinkoff [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: 05 November 2005 02:27 > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: What is Gmail? > > Hi Bob ...hanks for the info and the invite.
