Hi, If the flash is so sensitive to such subtle changes in camera movement, it's essentially worthless. But I don't think that's the case though. Later I made two more shots of the same subject, a little smurf on my desk, The desk is dark, you've seen the smurf. In one shot I included a few more bright elements than the other, That frame was brighter than the frame that contained almost all dark elements, which was somewhat underexposed Oh well, another mystery to be solved ... but not tonight.
One thing I would like to find out is exactly what the metering pattern is for CW Average in the DS. I had the patterns for the LX and the MX, and it really helped in some tricky situations.
