That price seems rather high, compared to the prices around here (which
is a place where prices in general tend to be high...) as well as the
others you mention. I think the DL has roughly the same price as the
Canon 350D here. The D50 is cheaper, but not as much as you indicate.
Are you sure you can't get a better deal on the DL? Have you considered
importing it? (Of course, that may be associated with a lot of
difficulties...)
I own 3 good lenses I like a lot, the K 50 1.2, the F
28 2.8 and the M 100 2.8....
I'd much rather have that combination than any "kit" zoom, I think...
