For me it is still unclear it FF will be standard for DSLRs. Many
advanced users who switched to digital from film may say yes. But for
ordinary people, who bought DSLRs because "they must be better being
SLRs" it doesn't matter. And I'm afraid the latter kind of buyers
creates informal standard and takes sales numbers of APS-C cameras to
so high levels. But only time will tell. I won't expect wide
popularity of FF DSLRs until someone will have sub $999 model. That's
not going to happen in the nearest future and by that time number of
sold APS-C cameras will be several millions...
