I have 2 of these and they are a surprisingly good little lens for the
almost "give-away" price.
If anyone is looking for a cheap knock around or spare short zoom

How can that be?
It's the supply and demand thingie: lots were made, and they are not
popular. The lens is, at best, optically 'o.k.' (and I'm being nice here
;-). It suffers from flare badly, and is cheaply built. The only cool
thing is the 1:2 macro setting at 80mm. If anyone is willing to pay
$25+shipping, I'll gladly sell mine :o)
I've seen lens caps go for more than that!
I've seen lens _boxes_ go for more than that...
