Even if the mirror rattled for nearly a second, shaking the camera like a leaf, it would still be only ~3% of the exposure time -- nothing at all to worry about.

Hi all,

Taken with the mighty super-multi-coated Takumar 300mm/f4 and 6x7 with
no MLU. Still pretty sharp (although it is a 30s exposure, so I guess
mirror slap isn't that critical).

and some casual shots of Louis Tillet at his Sunday residency in the
Sandringham Hotel. It never ceases to amaze me that you can walk into
places around Sydney, and for a few dollars, or even for no dollars, as
in this case, hear a legend play a 3 hour set.

Oh God! Look at that microphone, right in front of his face!!

(sorry, couldn't resist). <LOL>

I like the whole series. Who's Louis Tillet? I've never heard of him.

Your shot of the bridge is wonderful as well. I personally find it
hard to shoot iconic structures and buildings in a new and fresh way,
but you've done so here.

Well done.

cheers,
