Hi Peter, I was having focusing problems with the istD and the istDS when wearing my glasses. However, with my glasses removed and adjusting the diopter correction appropriately, all the problems I had disappeared. Maybe you can try focusing without your glasses and fiddle with the diopter adjustment.
