How's the list rate my Cosmicar A-70~200 1:4 Macro??? >>

I used to be able to tell the story of Cosmicar, but have completely
forgotten.

1. They shoot, ~look~ and feel like PENTAX.
2. They make ~crisp~ pictures.
3. Other than coating(s), you can't tell it from a PENTAX constant aperture
lens.
4. They are ~great~ with ~quality~ 1.4 tele-converters but are soft with 2X
types.
5. Build quality is less than PENTAX, but still acceptable.
6. I carried (and still own) my Cosmicar for a dependable back up. On
location and shooting grab shots, the small size makes it quick handling.
Mounted on my Program Plus and stuffed in the top of my bag or in a deep
pocket, the combination let you carry B&W or a different spedd film. I kept a
Tokina 1.4 teleconverter on that Program Plus for quick establishing shots.
The 1.4 teleconveerter lets you shoot many outdoor shots at f/5/6. I shot
that combo with ISO 800 film indoors and out, with confidence.

Other than that, it's not much of a lens...'cause it ain't no PENTAX <G>

Nahh, one of the great third party lenses!
