Hi, No, I'm not giving up on digital. I needed some extra cash to pay for some unexpected medical expenses, and was unable to work for a month or so, so I chose to sell the digi rather than one of my film cameras. I think graywolf knew that, so there was no need to explain it further. IOW, working with film is still important to me, and while the digi is nice (and I miss it), the Leicas and some of the Pentaxes are nicer still. When I get my financial equilibrium back, I'll buy another DSLR ... I've been watching the prices on the istDS2 and am looking forward to seeing what Pentax has coming up for new offerings.
