The 028 is a big beast, it's got far more reach and load capacity than an 055, 
that said if you aren't using long lenses an 055 should be stable enough to 
handle a 67 (which I used with mine years back). The Grip Action Ball Head I'm 
not such a fan or, you either love or hate them I guess, it really shifts the 
weight about as it's so long, the new 322RC2 heavy duty grip ball head looks 
pretty good though I've not yet used one.

Should be able to handle most jobs, the )55 models that allow the centre post 
to cantilever off the head of the leg set can be a boon when shooting macros in 
the field, but some models don't have this facility.
