The one-click curves solution is a pretty drastic change. Another approach is to get rid of or paint over the white border with a neutral grey (555555 works) and hit auto color. If you don't remove the borders in a photo, or make them neutral, PS includes them in its calculations, and you may not get accurate results. You could also try a Hue/Sat layer: Hit Ctrl-5 to work on the blue, and move the Saturation slider to -100, or wherever you prefer, then, if you want, you can play with moving the Lightness slider and see what that gets you.
