He turned into a silly argument. If you turned the argment into the simple fact that
pro cameras is all about a significant number of professional users then, as I said in
my previous post you turn into contradiction (not to mention how you define
significant number). With this simple definition neither the LX or the Dynaxx9 are pro
because they don't enjoy a significant professional use percentage in spite of similar
built and specifications as comparable Nikon products. If you want to come up with
definition you should at least come up with something consistent.

Why do you care or Mike?
I argue the point because it doesn't make sense. Pentax offer both professional grade
products and service second to none, and I suspect Olympus and Minolta do the same -
Ever tried picking up the phone and see what arrangement they can offer?. To argue
that point is falsify reality.

Thats exactly my point. The camera is the same anyway or would you or Mike really
argue that the F5 wouldn't been a pro camera it didn't enjoy the level of pro market
share it has?
Also, if the EOS1v had been a Pentax it wouldn't have been a pro camera because not a
significant number of pro shooters would have used it?

Pentax make pro grade equipment second to none including camera and lenses. They also
offer pro service. They do not, however, offer pro targeted marketing.
My impression is that many use Pentax because they offer pro grade equipment.
As I said in my previous post, I really don't care whether the MZ-S should be defined
as Pro, semi-pro or something entirely different. But its no less pro than similary
priced Nikon or Canon products.
