With the FA* lenses you have to click the focus ring into a different
position to decouple the AF mechanism. With the DA lenses it's just a
clutch.

The Pentax DA and D-FA lenses all have full-time manual focusing

a clutch system. I'm given to understand that a couple of FA*
lenses
might have it too.........
