Presumably Samsung are going to put some considerable marketing effort
into the camera, and Pentax will as a result be able to make a lot more
camera bodies and lenses than it would otherwise have done. This should

I agree. And that's exactly what they announced last October: a rebadged
Pentax (with some Samsung components inside) soon and a jointly developed
new generation later this year.
They are just keeping the announced pace. Not bad at all.
To be noticed:
1 - Apparently, they are keeping the backward compatibility as Pentax does.
I didn't expect that on the Samsung version.
2 - Continuous AF only in Action mode, just like the DS and unlike the
DL/DS2.
