Thought some of you might like to see the results
Windex can acheive on a badly fungused lens.

This folder contains 2 before shots (B1 and B2)
and 2 after shots (A1 and A2)
Also a sample pic with this lens after the cleaning.
All at ISO 3200 so pretty "grainy". ;-)

This is a Super-Multi-Coated TAKUMAR 50/1.4
I got from a list member.
The biggest challenge was getting the 'beauty'
ring off since there was a dent in the filter ring.

The fungus has done permanent damage to the
coatings which can be seen as off color patches if
you fog the lens with breath.
However it still does a fine job after cleaning, though
flare resistance has probably suffered.
