I think weights are similar (Boz knows). The 31mm limited is solid and compact, but longer than you would expect. The 24mm is shorter and wider without the hood. Once you put the hood on, the 24mm gets kind of big. The real difference is in diameter..the 31mm is 49mm(?) and the 24mm is 67mm. Regards, Bob S.
