Here in London our movements around the city can be traced from the
smartcards that store our season tickets. Embedding things in people is
pointless.

But some idiots in govt already are saying they think it is a good idea. First they will use these on convicted criminals. Then they will find a reason to use them instead of drivers licenses and ID cards. Then everyone will be trackable via GPS at any time. The next step is to design the implant so it can inject a lethal dose of poison when triggered by a signal, or if an attempt is made to remove it. Big Brother never had it so good!!
