Pretty simplistic article, mostly just repeating the obvious.
The author doesn't seem to know that the original Sony Mavica was not a digital camera at all. It was a still video camera using analog recording. Canon also made cameras like that. I still have one of the cameras and a big stack of those tiny floppy disks they used. By today's standards the image quality is pretty awful.
