16-17MB. That's 15MB of raw data (10mpix of 12-bit data), plus a low- quality JPEG for preview, plus all the other metadata, etc. I don't expect compression; it might save a few MB (based on estimates with compressed DNGs), but I'm not sure there is enough processing power available in-camera for this. I'd like to see an option to switching to a best-quality JPEG instead of the low-quality one that's in current PEF files; that would probably add another MB to the total size. But I don't really expect that. Nor do I expect to see adoption of the Adobe DNG format, nice though that would be.
