The Sony R1's 10.1Mpixel RAW format file is uncompressed, just like
the D model PEF, and is 20.1Mbytes in size. They don't store a JPEG
in the file like Pentax does, they store a sidecar JPEG file at the
same time, size depends on the JPEG settings in use and varies from
about 800K to 4.5Mbytes.
Unless Pentax moves to a losslessly compressed PEF data format (or
DNG), I would assume it will be about the same as the two Sony files
combined, with the Sony set to a medium-low resolution JPEG.
