On this list, most of us are looking for the low-cost reliable purveyor. Sometimes, gurantees of proper customer service are one of the costs the provider chooses to pare.

Sadly, customer service is the first thing that gets cut when competition gets tough.
Good customer service requires real people with real training.
Real people with real training cost real money.
The consumers have spoken, they want the lowest price.
Period.
We have chosen to eschew customer service in favour of the bottom line. It is a strategy that backfires from time to time.
