Well actually I've had a rather unwelcome strange feeling all day and an elevated temperature to go with it, but it wasn't USM. Nor do I expect that Pentax lenses will suffer the USM affliction in any time soon :-) I'd be happy to be proven wrong but I'd be very very surprised at such a development.
