I've used the Pentax AF080C with good results, but remember with out multi
segment bulbs that can be turned on/off you're going to get very flat
light. If your subject has any depth to it, you'll be reducing it. I got
around this be adding a side light when I used this ringflash.

I've long wanted a ring light for macro shots. I have quite a few mineral
specimens that I'd like to photograph for abstracts (not to mention it's
usefulness for flowers).
Has anybody used the new LED ring lights? Didn't Pentax once sell a ring
light?
