Hi David. Thanks for looking and for your PhotoShop efforts. I like the increased contrast on the tattoos but it eliminates all the detail in his hair and shirt -- at least on my monitor. I'm not wild about the dark background. No separation from his hair. But that's all subjective, of course.

images). I was bored and I had a play with it. First a curves
adjustment layer to the overall image to increase contrast and then a
curves layer mask adjustment layer to darken the foreground &
background elements.

If truth be told, I've shot him before -- wearing a kilt. He's a
transplanted Scot and seems to be a rather pleasant fellow. The pain
and rage are apparently not directed at photographers. I am thankful
for that.
