If the lenses still had full frame capability and aperture rings they

gain even more sales. I could argue/discuss the point for hours but in

end what possible harm could be done by satisfying both parties and

the aperture ring in place?
Simple. They have decided that the additional sales (to you, Mike, Kostas
and JCO) won't justify the additional cost and complexity.
