There is nothing wrong with it that would be remedied at a repair shop, it's sloppy by design. At the 16mm the end of the barrel moves at least 2mm laterally. The 24-90 was sloppy too, I've never been a fan of zooms or AF lenses, the VS1 lens I had was about the best I've used mechanically pity it flared like crazy.
