I think that's wise of you, Shel. The accident happened what, earlier today or yesterday? There's no hurry involved here. I don't know about the US, but here in Canada, the limitation period (ie: the time in which a law suit must be commenced) for auto accidents is two years. I don't think it would be a bad thing to see how things sort out before making any decisions. Worry about yourself first - you've got lots of time to make decisions.
