Regards Jens Perspective has very little to do with the focal length of a lens. Only chaning the POSITION of the camera relative to the subject will change the image perspective. The focal lengh wont. Crop the middle out of an image taken with a 35mm and you can get EXACTLY the same image that can be made from a 50mm lens. Provided of course that the camera position is unchanged. This is usually considered basic knowledge for photographers.
